Setting sails
Here I'm back with my 2nd post. I managed to buy some most of my course books for 1st year. A cousin of mine also lent me some of her books, which makes it easier since all the important parts will already be marked in it. Though I want to approach to field from a more learning aspect than just to pass exams. But I would need to pass exams or the extra knowledge won't get me nowhere. I still haven't purchased a boneset and I'm not sure whether I will be purchasing one or not. Some people are stating it to be absolutely essential while some are quite against the idea of buying one.
I applied for the hostel but will be going in as a day scholar for first few months. Heck! maybe the first Sem altogether. Though as dad says the mess food may be able to lure me sooner. Yeah I know it sounds weird. How can mess food be good right ?! No idea. My parents recon it is. Anyways inputs from my batchmates suggest that I am better off being a day scholar for the first few months due to the condition of hostels.
So I had to get tested for COVID-19 . It was a new experience for sure. I mean I was a bit more anxious than required owing to rumors from people struggling with the test due to their gag reflex. Some got it done after multiple swabs. Gladly nothing such happened with me.
I mean it sure is uncomfortable enough to make your eyes tear up a bit but nothing serious. It got over in a jiffy I must say.
I still have a few essentials to pick up for college. I'll buy them from college street.
I'll be starting my med school journey in a few days. Lets see how the wind sails in this ocean.
P.s I'm really excited for the White coat ceremony
